This month we are showcasing our 2-Channel Pulse Counter!
This handy IoT sensor measures pulses from a variety of analog sources, including most water, electricity, and natural gas meters. This is a very affordable and convenient way to turn any existing utility meter into a smart meter.
When a pulse arrives at either of the two channels, the device wakes up and increments the counter. When the number of pulses exceeds a specific threshold, it sends a packets with the total number of pulses detected on both channels. Once a pulse is counted, this device goes back to sleep to save power.
Like all of our sensors, this pulse counter wirelessly connects to our IoT Edge Computer , and boasts a range of up to 50 km and battery life of up to 10 years!
